Tuesday/Wednesday:
1. Students will be working on different projects during Thursday and Friday.
IF IN THE BROADCASTING/EDITING ROOM: On the teleprompter, type up what you think the "script" for the morning news should be. Save file and send to Mrs. G. On the Tricaster, explore green screen techniques and record one short news clip. I will show you how to export the file so I can check. This means one to two people will be in front of the camera.
IF WORKING ON PRESENTATION FOR FRONT OF SCHOOL: Work on placing the announcements into a presentation. Make it look professional and start thinking of photos to take that would show our school culture. You may take the broadcasting pass and film either short clips (less than 60 seconds) or take photos.
IF ON THE COMPUTERS: You will work in pairs and type up a "script" for the morning news. This script will include:

Tuesday/Wednesday:
- Search "local news Chattanooga" or "local news Trenton, GA"
- Find 2 news articles. Do NOT watch videos! This assignment is to help you remember how to
- write your 30 second stories.
- Write your stories -- each story must include:
- 5Ws and H
- Type of story (human interest, sports, etc.)
- must be 30 seconds long
- Write your tweet about one of the stories. Must be 140 characters or less.
- If finished, start creating the format of the news (you may write this on paper or on Google Drive.
- I will be pulling students for pass/fail quizzes on the equipment.

- Slogan/Motto
- Pledge
- Moment of silence
- Lunch
- Sports/upcoming events
- Photos you can pull on the internet
